Medical Grade Skincare
Elite Medspa in Scottsdale offers top-of-the-line medical grade skincare.
Brands include SkinCeuticals, SkinBetter Science, ZO Skin Health, NeoCutis, ISDIN, Alastin, and Upneeq.
Medical grade skincare products contain powerful, active ingredients that are clinically researched to be safe and effective. Medical grade skincare protects your skin from harmful elements while encouraging cellular regeneration and promoting healthy skin cells from the inside out.
Differing from products you can buy at the store, medical grade skincare contains ingredients that are capable of penetrating below the top layers of the skin. Products sold over the counter do not affect the skin in biological ways and are unable to penetrate its lower layers.
Medical-grade skin care lines use active ingredients, which are often the same as pharmaceutical ones you can only obtain with a prescription. Common examples include retinol such as SkinBetter’s Clearing Serum, AlphaRet, and AlphaRet Exfoliating Peel Pads, antioxidants such as SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic, Silymarin, and Phloretin CF, or peptides such as NeuCutis’ BioSerum and BioCream, and Alastin’s Restorative Skin Complex. Although some over-the-counter brands may contain retinols, antioxidants, and peptides as well, the amount is minimal because products sold in retail stores are not permitted to affect structural change to the skin.
In addition to preventative medical grade skincare, Elite Medspa carries products that reverse existing sun damage, widen tired, droopy eyelids, and help lash, brow and hair re-growth.
While medical grade skincare may come at slightly higher price tag, it’s developed to penetrate the skin more efficiently. Medical grade skincare offers better results and you may need to use less due to the higher levels of penetration, thus providing a better value overall.
